Kelly Berning received her B.F.A. in Sculpture at California State University, Chico and her M.F.A. in Ceramics at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She is currently teaching at MiraCosta College in Cardiff, CA and Mount San Jacinto College in San Jacinto, CA.

Trent Berning received his B.F.A. in Ceramics at Fort Hays State University, Kansas and his M.F.A. in Ceramics at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He is currently teaching at MiraCosta College in Oceanside, CA, and at Palomar College in San Marcos.
